Who we are

CLB Target is operated by Akabogu Nnanyelu Kosisochukwu ("we", "us", the "seller"). We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website, which means we decide how and why your information is used.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address when you sign up.
  • Practice results: the tests you take and your scores.
  • Messages you send us through the Contact page.
  • Writing and Speaking answers, only when you submit them for feedback.
  • Technical data: device type, browser and approximate location, used to keep the site secure and working well.

How we use it and why (legal basis)

We use your information to run your account and deliver the service you signed up for (performance of our contract with you), to save your progress and give feedback on your answers, to keep the site secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests), and to reply to your messages. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and operate the website on our behalf.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. When you buy a plan, Paddle processes your payment details; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers) where needed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Speaking recordings

Recordings made during Speaking practice stay in your browser and are deleted when you close the page, unless you choose to submit them for feedback, in which case they are stored securely with your account.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and practice data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, transaction records kept by Paddle for tax purposes).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it, through the Contact page. We respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and make the site work. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
